Ivan Paspaldzhiev is service lead for biodiversity and Senior Manager at EY denkstatt, Bulgaria. As such, he helps companies understand and manage their impacts and dependencies on nature, the economy and society toward creating shared value. In the private sector, he has particular experience with companies in the food & beverages, retail, energy, chemicals, metals & mining, and pulp & paper sectors. Ivan leads denkstatt’s work in the EU research projects CircHive and SELINA (focusing on business and biodiversity management) and is a lead author for the IPBES Business and Biodiversity assessment report. He holds a degree in Ecological and Environmental Sciences from the University of Edinburgh.
