Hello, first of all, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to present, in the event organized by you, Bulgarian Posts as a dynamic company, ready to respond adequately to modern requirements in a rapidly developing environment of e-commerce. Of course, this requires serious investments, strategic planning and modernization of services. The company has great potential, and is developing in the field of e-commerce technologies. Essential elements of our portfolio include an online platform for sending and tracking shipments in real time, integration with e-commerce platforms (Bulgarian and foreign online stores), electronic payments and international transactions.

Bulgarian Posts Plc is the largest logistics operator in the country for delivery of shipments. What are the main challenges in managing logistics and deliveries in e-commerce?

Undeniably, logistics is key to the development of e-commerce, and we take care of the proper distribution and delivery of tens of thousands of shipments every day. Customers expect express delivery, which requires a good logistics network, and we have a network of 2,971 post offices, 23 sorting centres and a fleet of over 400 vehicles to reach absolutely every corner of the country.

Nowadays, electronic vouchers are already a fact and in this regard, Bulgarian Posts Plc is a licensed issuer of food and gift vouchers. What are the trends in the issuance of electronic vouchers on the territory of Bulgaria?

Trends in the issuance of e-vouchers in 2025 focus on digitalization, personalization and security. We can guarantee our customers a 9-level protection of the voucher card, a mobile application and a network of over 4,000 retail outlets throughout the country. These trends make e-vouchers more accessible, convenient and secure for both consumers and businesses.

How does Bulgarian Posts Plc stand on the market of electronic payments?

We have extensive professional experience and traditions in this field. We are constantly expanding our cooperation with foreign postal operators for faster cross-border deliveries and also attracting new international e-commerce operators as partners.

What are the challenges facing Bulgarian Posts Plc in the foreseeable future?

We have a very good strategic framework for development in the coming years, which includes continuous improvement of infrastructure, acceleration of adaptation processes in terms of new technologies and the implementation of new business models, and last but not least investment in the training and professional development of our employees. After all, Bulgarian Posts is one of the largest employers in Bulgaria taking care of over 7,300 employees and their families.
