Can you introduce us to the development of the FAVI online group so far? In which countries do you operate, and what have been the most significant milestones in your journey?

The FAVI adventure began in 2015 with a simple idea—to make online furniture shopping practical, inspiring, and accessible to everyone. We launched the concept of an online search engine and aggregator for furniture, and after several months of experimentation, we found the right direction. FAVI’s traffic grew rapidly, and online stores quickly gained satisfied customers. FAVI soon became the No. 1 destination for furniture shopping in the Czech market, and over the years, we expanded to eleven more European countries.

You focus on home decor and furniture. Can you tell us more about the range of products FAVI offers across all markets and how retailers recognize the synergy potential of cooperation?

FAVI primarily focuses on products that customers usually choose based on appearance, emphasizing a visual shopping experience.

Unlike other aggregators, which typically serve as price comparison platforms, FAVI’s key value lies not in finding the lowest price but in inspiring and motivating users to buy beautiful pieces for their homes. We collaborate with more than 2,000 online stores and offer over 6 million products across all markets.

Our goal is to present the widest selection of inventory in one place in every market. When searching for furniture, customers only need to visit FAVI, as they can easily find a vast selection in one convenient location. Everything is available in one place, quickly and effortlessly.

What are the main benefits retailers gain from selling through your platform?

The FAVI platform is an ideal place for all online stores that sell furniture and home accessories and want to increase the visibility and sales of their products.

Since we exclusively feature home related products, stores receive high-quality traffic from users specifically interested in purchasing these items.

One of the many benefits is that we charge only for results—specifically, when a customer clicks through to the retailer’s website. Our dashboard allows retailers to track the number of clicks and sales, enabling them to see how much profit our search engine generates for
them at any time.

There are no hidden costs or surprises—our goal is to drive sales and ensure the success of every store on our platform. Managing a campaign is straightforward, and every retailer has a dedicated account manager to help them achieve their desired results.

How is the collaboration organized, and how do you structure the pricing model for partner retailers (subscription, affiliate, etc.)?

Starting a collaboration with FAVI is very simple. Retailers only need to fill out a short registration form on our website and send us an XML feed with the products they want to promote. Once registration is successfully processed, an account manager provides the retailer with detailed information on campaign settings and account management.

FAVI operates on a CPC (cost-per-click) model, meaning we charge retailers only for clicks that direct users from our platform to their website. The click price depends on the market
and product category.

The monthly cost is tailored to each retailer and varies based on the brands they offer, product assortment, and pricing. With the help of a local account manager, retailers receive recommendations and optimization strategies aligned with their goals and budget.

The minimum CPC varies by country and it is set per category based on overall performance
and popularity. Prices can automatically adjust to reflect current market conditions and seasonal trends.

One of the biggest challenges for online retailers is cross-border sales. Is FAVI the right platform to help them expand into other EU markets?

Absolutely. We have many satisfied clients who initially operated in just one market, and FAVI served as their springboard for rapid expansion into multiple countries.

However, it’s important to note that for international expansion, an online store must have a local presence in the target country, including a fully functional website, logistics, and other necessary infrastructure.

Can retailers who want to invest in marketing promotion stand out on the platform and gain more visibility among customers?

There are several ways to increase visibility on FAVI, but we will highlight two of the most effective ones.

1. Bidding: Retailers can bid in three ways—on in-stock products, on categories, or on
individual products. This automatically gives their products a higher position in our
catalog, increasing visibility.

2. FAVI Extra Review System: FAVI Extra is an easy-to-implement solution that allows
retailers to collect user reviews on sold products and e-commerce service quality.
Implementing this system improves the product’s position in the FAVI catalog.

Additionally, we often support clients by promoting their products on social media.

Do you plan to introduce new features in 2025, and what are your expectations for the coming year?

Our long-term goal is for FAVI to become a “top-of-mind” brand in every market where we operate. Strong and regular TV campaigns are a cornerstone of our strategy, and we will
soon be present on television for example, in recently launched Bulgaria as well..

One of our key performance metrics is brand awareness (both spontaneous and aided), which we monitor continuously. In addition, we plan to focus more on user retention and
product personalization, areas where we see significant innovation potential.

We expect all these improvements to create new opportunities for scaling our clients’ campaigns and boosting their performance.

If you are a retailer in this segment, we would love to collaborate with you and help your business grow with us in 2025!

Last year, you expanded into new markets in Bulgaria, Slovenia, and Greece. How has the expansion process gone? What were the main challenges?

FAVI has been expanding into new markets repeatedly over the past few years. Before launching in Bulgaria, Slovenia, and Greece, we had already expanded into eight other countries, so this is not a new challenge for us. We are seeing strong results, particularly in Slovenia and Bulgaria. We are already working on stronger brand-building activities in Bulgaria, such as the initial launch of a TV campaign.

Our catalog is rapidly growing with inventory from partnering shops. One key challenge I see is motivating shops to provide FAVI with the most complete product data possible in their feeds and implement tracking solutions, either through our own FAVI Pixel or by connecting GA4 into the campaign.

To ensure trust from the customers, we strongly promote our own product reviewing system FAVI Extra. All of these solutions are easy to implement, but in new markets, it always takes some time for our partners to fully adopt and utilize them.
